Tuesday hot lunches are from Mary Brown's Chicken, which is organized by our Catholic School Council members. This year's proceeds from this hot lunch fundraiser are for students' class trips and transportation.
Thursday hot lunch is pizza from Domino's, and all proceeds go back to student use!
Every Wednesday, we offer Kernal's popcorn. All proceeds will go toward purchasing outdoor equipment for students to play with during recess!

At the beginning of each month, our Principal, Laura Carson, arranges a "Good News Assembly". All staff and students meet in the gymnasium shortly after morning attendance to do O Canada, morning announcements, and a land acknowledgement as a group, followed by the Fruit of the Holy Spirit Awards. Each month, our PVNC Community reflects on Sacred Teachings, one of those being the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. Educators are asked to choose students who have reflected on that month's specific Sacred Teaching, and they receive an award.
Every September, we kick off our school year off with an annual Open House BBQ. This event normally occurs in the evening during the first couple of weeks of school, and it gives all of our families an opportunity to meet their child/ren's teachers or any new staff in the building.
Each year, St. Mary CES participates in the Terry Fox Fundraiser and Terry Fox Walk. Students raise money to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation to help Terry Fox's dream of ending cancer through research!
Our amazing Catholic School Council members put a very well-decorated Christmas float for the Lindsay Santa Claus Parade. Students may have permission from their parent/guardian to ride on the float during the parade.
For the past four years, the Christmas season at St. Mary Catholic Elementary School in Lindsay has been marked by a growing tradition of generosity. This festive Christmas luncheon, fully purchased and organized by the Hale family, is a powerful reminder of the true spirit of Christmas! Each year, our students look forward to this event!
During the Christmas season, our Grade 8 students put together a lovely Christmas Marketplace to give each student at the school an opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts for their loved ones. The Gr. 8s collect donations from our school community, including toys, Christmas ornaments and decor, household items, books, etc. They help each class shop for items on their list and wrap the gifts as well. Every classroom gets an opportunity to shop at the Christmas Marketplace.
Before Christmas Break, our amazing educators and students put on a beautiful Christmas Concert for the Parents and Guardians of our school community.
This yearly tradition is kept up by our Catholic School Council members, who put many hours into cooking pancakes for all the staff and students at the school. Each classroom gathers together in the breakfast room, and the CSC members serve up as many pancakes as the kids can eat.
